This is a United Methodist Church, so yay for that. However, scrolling through the comments in the article reminds me (as if I didn't know) how far we really are from the majority of churches seeing and treating everyone as equals.
Off to mine soon. My letter about resigning as choir director and why I am leaving the Church was published in the newsletter, which came yesterday, so I imagine I will have a lot of people approaching me about that this morning.
I will be glad when this month is over, even though I will miss the singing.
