The Morning Jolt
Larry Flick on Sirius/XM's OutQ station was coming for people this morning.
It started with Adam Lambert fans tweeting relentlessly for whatever reason. Maybe they heard about the fan-made mashup of Lambert and Pink doing "Whataya Want From Me" which Larry has been playing on the show.
Larry Flick likes Adam Lambert, but he's not crazy about his most rabid fans. Most who tweet him don't even listen to the show. And they are quite nasty and hateful when they get called out on their shit.
Later, some homophobic dude thought it would be a good idea to call OutQ and express his views. Keith Price, Larry's sidekick, was talking to him off air, and Larry put him on.
Now, Larry doesn't like people calling with random, off-topic crap - unless it's something really important, like someone who wants advice on coming out, etc.
So Larry says, "What do you want?" and this guy proceeds to say that he doesn't understand how any man could want to have sex with another man.
Larry (interrupting): "Well, that makes you heterosexual. Congratulations, and have a great life." *hangs up*
He then proceeds to tell the guy off on the air. It was priceless.
I wouldn't want to listen to bitchy Larry Flick every day, but when he's like that, he just says stuff you wish you could say. And he actually was censoring himself. A little. ;)
He was in a bitchy mood until David Hasselhoff and his daughters came on and charmed his socks off. ;)
