school is tough. it seems like everyone picks up the material so quickly while i struggle to keep up. midterms are coming around, and i hope i'll be prepared for them, but i guess i'm the only one that can guarantee that. i've decided that i really want to learn how to play guitar. too bad my parents continue to disallow it. well, i guess i'll update on a few changes that have evolved since my last entry. i'm going to be spending half of my summer at home, and the other half back up here at berkeley because i'll be taking a class for summer school here. my original plans to take summer school at ucla are demolished due to the fact that ucla runs on a trimester system and credits and the like don't transfer well. i guess it won't be so bad, i like berkeley afterall, and i get to go home for a month. next year, i'm going to be moving into an apartment with wendy, stephanie and grace, so we'll be apartment hunting soon. hopefully we'll find something a little less sketch than berkeley's norm, but i guess i'm not too picky, as long as its not an insane distance from campus. my punctuated periods of homesickness continue, and i miss my family dearly. speaking of which, last weekend, my brother drunk dialed me at least ten times last weekend. how's that for awkward. fortuntaely(?) i was also drunk because it was a night out with the girls. so of course, they called him back, and it was just a hilarious exchange of yelling through my cell phone getting yelled back, and talking to a frat guy's sister, who also happened to drunk dial his sister. good times!!! valentine's day is coming up, and blah, yeah ...makes me wish i had someone special to share it with. oh! i'm going to a chinese new year parade tomorrow in san francisco. glad i can do what i can to ring in the new year, a little late or otherwise. should be nice, since my first chinese new year away from home leaves much to be desired.
