Sooo, I was told I haven't actually updated in a REALLY long time, which admittedly I haven't, so I shall attempt to give a nice and thorough update now.

I guess I'll just start around Christmas time. I did receive my top two "big" Christmas gifts from Santa: a feather comforter bed set (comforter, mattress cover, and two pillows) and a SWEET kitchen knife set. That made me happy. I also got the new DDR game, and it's not as good as the last one in my own opinion, but I still play it. :) And, thanks to Adam, I was able to replace my iPod shuffle that went for a swim in the washer with a new iPod Nano. aaaaaaaaaaaaah. And, thanks to myself, I was able to get a new cell phone since my old one is TOTALLY M.I.A. :( Oh well.

Let's see what else. I'm in my second semester of Grad School at Miami in Oxford. This semester is going to quasi-suck because I have to take Theories of History (i.e. philosophy), a Research Seminar (hello pre-MA Thesis paper), and the Fall of Communism. I KNOW NOTHING POST-VIETNAM HERE PEOPLE! To make matters worse, it's only me and this other guy and he knows a TON about it already so I look (and feel) like a deer in headlights. bah. So basically I'll be doing A LOT of reading about Quakers and the Atlantic world with the hopes that I will be able to research the Swathmore(sp?) Letters and do a comparison study between English and American Quakers. Who knows--I sure as hell don't. bleeeeeeh. I'll be sure to keep you all posted on that since I *know* you are interested in what I'll do for my MA Thesis lol.

Teaching is going OK. I think this semester will be about the same--a lot of work but rewarding in the end when one student marks you "poor" on every question and then doesn't give a reason for doing so. nice LOL. Ah well, I'm not phased by it--my prof I taught with was happy so that's really all that matters :)

In other more personal news: Adam got a job in Sidney (Ohio) and is making decent enough money for being fresh out of school. He wants to get a new car since he drives so much (still lives in Findlay--i.e. he has an hour commute each way). We are also talking about getting a house somewhere near Sidney, but that's a LOOOOOOOOONG way off. Perhaps I can elaborate on my life plans after school at another time. Everything is too much in the air right now to elaborate or to even hypothesize about what *might* happen.

Dakota (the dog) is still crazy, but he's settling down some.

I got $66 today from the bank. That made me happy.

I'm pulling things out of my ass now, so I think I'll stop LOL.
