honestly, who does that?
so i had my orientation for longhorn steakhouse this morning at 9:30. i was thinking it wouldn't be that bad (or that long for that matter), but wow....honestly, this is gonna be intense! the orientation itself lasted THREE HOURS, and the manager, Wade (he's really cool), dished out these HUGE training manuals. i didn't think training to be a waitress (again) was that hard, but evidently they take things reeeeally seriously. aside from all that, i'm really excited to start on monday. here's my schedule:
monday:
8:00-9:30 AM--book work (oi.)
tuesday:
11:00-? AM--follow someone around
wednesday:
8:00-9:30 AM--book work
5:00-? PM--follow someone around
THURSDAY (aka "doomsday")
8:00-9:30 AM--book work
11:00-? PM--follow someone around
5:00-? PM--follow someone around...again
*i think i'll just camp outside there that day*
friday:
8:00-9:30 AM--book work
5:30-? PM--follow someone around
this will be interesting to say the least, but i'm reeeeally excited! hopefully should be in the $$$ soon, since their tip sharing policy is much better than the other place i worked at :)
