a week of boredom
Yankee-kun to Megane-chan is the only drama I'm watching this cycle, but I love it. My image of Narimiya Hiroki as SCARY AS HELL (from the Unfair movie) is finally going away.
This last week was incredibly boring. I only had two full documents (~2 pages) to translate [3 hours?], one meeting [1 hour], 2 several-line translations [10 minutes], and one set of documents to proofread/edit [3 hours]. In a whole week!
I spent a lot of my downtime making a spreadsheet to plan out the routes I am considering once I'm done with JET. It's color-coded and separated by country, and quite impressive, I think. I didn't think I'd have to do this after college, but clearly I was mistaken. The future is still uncertain and unstable!
On the bright side, I did find out that I am more than likely going on a short trip to Vietnam once in mid-July and another time for a week in early September!! I reaaaaaaally wanted to go to Vietnam, and the fact that it isn't a violently unstable country is a huge plus :Dv
And, in two weeks, I get to go plant rice with kids!

I also finally found a website with information on taking the HSK in Japan. From the samples they have online, I think I can pass the new level 5 at present. I would rather spend the next few months studying and go for HSK 6 in November, but 6 is so hard!!!........... DDD:
