back in the world of taiwanese dramas
I think I'm developing a slight crush on Baron Chen solely by virtue of the fact that he looks like Vic Zhou from some angles. (And Ken Zhu from others, but more importantly, Vic.) He has barely been in this drama so far but but ... he's cute. I think I must have a clear-cut type. Jin reminded me a lot of Vic, too, when I first saw him.

Today I made curry again (delicious!!!) and even cut the carrots and potatoes into pretty consistent sizes! I am getting really good at this. It took a little less than two hours this time.
And I went to the Holocaust Museum and Jefferson Memorial [I have sworn upon the altar of God eternal hostility against every form of tyranny over the minds of men].
The Holocaust Museum wasn't as intense as I remembered it to be the first time around, but it was still good to go, I think. I'm not sure how I felt about the fact that there were quite a few fairly young children there (under 10 years old). I grew up completely in a bubble and that's probably not so great, but should 8 or 9 year olds really be subjected to pictures and video of concentration camps, pogroms, and summary executions?
