It is so hard to feed myself without rice or a rice cooker. ;__; I'm determined to do it, though, just to be able to save that extra space in my suitcase for things I want in Japan. Today I made yaki udon for dinner, and it was delicious ♪♪♪ I need to go to the supermarket again for tomorrow.
I went to the National Mall today for a bit of the Regina Spektor concert -- her voice is very pretty and she seemed really cute -- but it was so so hot and I am totally in for some really ugly tan lines. She is on the big screen and the Capitol is to the right! I have pictures of her on the stage, too, but I think being able to see the Capitol is much cooler.
After that, I attempted to find a Korean supermarket that's supposed to be in the city but got lost and went back to the train station because I was in kind of a scary neighborhood. It was almost completely deserted except for beggars. o_o;;;
I just want nice vegetables. And frozen dumplings(!!!) and mabo harusame and pepperoncino mix. And maybe a decent egg tart (under $1!).
Having recognizable food would really help me feel less blah about all of this. :/
