A first attempt at mabo tofu from scratch. I did it without the ground pork and... a lot of "essential" ingredients, actually ^_^;; but it tasted good. My recipe from an English cookbook was really minimalist and the one from my Japanese one was overboard, so I went for something in the middle and got this ♥
Next time, less broth and more tofu.
On my way to challenge Yamapi's mother! Ehehehe.
I still want to learn how to make pepperoncino(?) too.
