you never should have gone to the police

I went to another forum today on law/the legal profession/law school. The more I hear, the less sure I am, so I know that either way I'll wait before applying if I do decide I want to do this. Listening to Circuit Court Judge Sandra Lynch was really cool.

I know that I want to help people on an individual and personalized basis, especially people who cannot help themselves. I'm not convinced that being a lawyer is the only or the best way to do this.

In as far as I am interested in law, what I reallyreallyreally think is fascinating and complicated and in need of help is international law in the state sense, not the business sense. I want to hear about people's experiences with the International Court of Justice or the International Criminal Court! All of this corporate stuff doesn't interest me at all.

I also really want to work for the UN, even if it is deeply flawed.

The search goes on.

Rainy days still remind me of the day I was in a real disaster movie, running against the wind with John and Mike and Kathleen in scary-warm weather with the Lake nearby and the clouds turning green overhead. I hope I never forget that day.

weather, summer, what am i going to do with my life?!
