DEMOCRATIC PRESIDENTIAL DEBATE
I GOT TO GO TO THE DEMOCRATIC PRESIDENTIAL DEBATE TODAY.
It was amazing. Quite possibly the coolest thing that has happened to me, like, ever. Right up there next to seeing a Yamapi lookalike on the train, but perhaps even cooler than that.
I shook hands with Joe Biden! And I was 5 feet away from Barack Obama! I have campaign signs for Obama, Edwards, and Kucinich now. I was going to get a Hillary, but she didn't have extra signs and was charging for the other paraphernalia. I also kind of wanted a Biden, but I don't think he had any...
I was there in the live audience watching the person who will hopefully be the future President of the United States!!! It was crazy exciting after an otherwise really boring day.
I don't know what I came out of it with, though. I started out like 80% Obama-20% Clinton and then shifted to more like 60% Obama-40% Clinton and now it's kind of more like 40% Obama-20% Clinton-20% Edwards-20% Confused. Although, the thing that probably hasn't changed is that in a world more ideologically aligned to where I am, I would be like 70% for Kucinich.
