I went to see Call Me Kuchu screening at a local church tonight. I was almost late and it was so cold and I was planning to just go home, but... I went, and it was a good thing. It is mind-blowing the way things have developed in other countries, the assumptions they make, the things they have and haven't adopted. I don't know what else to say.
I liked being in the church too, because it was one of the weird ones, the open inclusive ones where the pastor said she was queer and worked to start a support network for African asylum-seekers. I like how clear it was that she puts her money where her mouth is.
