I saw someone wearing the green two-tone North Face? jacket that D had on the train today and I caught myself staring at his back. It was a nice back. The jacket was too new looking.
It's his birthday tomorrow! I finally wrote my weird postcard notes to send out to three detention centers; we'll see if any of them make it through.
On a similar note, I had a lot of fun with one of two last week and already I've been sucked into the world of over-analytical mind games. I've also broken past the too-lazy-to-text barrier. He's already gone home (out of state) for the holidays, which makes things difficult.
I'm knee deep in payments world, investments and risk, extended authorization... I don't like that I have to invest so much when it's still such a murky opportunity.
This morning we had a session with eBay's HR because our company was acquired. I work for the eBay group!
In that session, the guy talked a little about how inspired he was in the work of expanding possibilities by pushing forward seamless commerce. Maybe I have a bit of knee-jerk negativity to people who seem too bright-eyed and bushy tailed, but this idea needs more thought. I don't know if I believe that free and efficient commerce is the cure all.
