I need perspective
Planning calms me.
Today a train line suicide at Mejiro clogged up half of the Yamanote line. I was planning to shop for souvenirs last-minute in Yokohama but decided against it, as the department store I needed to stop at closes at 8:00. I'm not sure if I'll try again tomorrow.
My normal 10 minute train ride took like an hour (Harajuku > Shinjuku > Kanda > Gotanda). I would have been so screwed if Yamanote completely went down, though, and took as many other lines down with it as it did today.
I haven't done any cleaning or packing for my trip yet -- just too fucking tired all the time. It'll all come together, right? I HOPE SO.
