Relax, breathe, think less, smile more, do what makes you happy.
Let things go as they will. There are things you can't control, and it'll be okay. Stop forcing it.
Let your mind go where it wants to go. When you're in a rut, getting angry at yourself won't help.
You can't plan everything (can you plan anything?).
This morning on the news they were talking with Akutagawa award-winning novelist Mieko Kawakami about her new novel, すべて真夜中の恋人たち.
Something she said about happiness was really important, I think.
I don't believe that happiness is a continuous state. It exists in spots that connect like constellations when you look back on them. These bright spots, good memories, are what give you courage.
