this is the last night--
I have very little trust in my realtor, so everything I say is a bit uncertain, but I'm moving to Tokyo tomorrow.
It feels a little strange because my mother ended up doing alllllllllllllllllll the packing. It hasn't sunk in yet, for me, yet I need to get up and withdraw a whole bunch of money and sign some contracts in the morning. I'll be really excited if stuff is mostly out of boxes by evening.
I'm moving into such a tiny place (need to stop thinking about the bigger place I could've lived if I wanted to spend an extra $100 a month -- this stuff adds up, right?!) and it's the city and not wonderful like Yokohama and I'm uneasy about all of this, but........... 35 minute commute (versus 80 minute) is a pretty huge deal.
I wonder when I'll live in a house again. I'd bet this is the last time in a while.
