The weather forecast may or may not have said that we are supposed to get something like 30 inches of snow. I hope that's just in the mountains.......... I need the trains to be running tomorrow, sorry.
Which reminds me. A skiing place picture, before I forget:
So bright it nearly burned my eyes!
Today my Korean friend/co-worker had a nabe party at her place and she invited me, Ru (Taiwanese), Tsegi (Mongolian), and Ksenia (Russian). We ate a ton and it was super fun! I made peach cobbler (and it turned out beautifully):
After four hours of lounging around and eating there, I headed off to my English club New Year's party to eat and drink some more. My body is really unhappy with me, but wow this is all out of my control. One of the people there brought her five month old baby, and while I am not normally one for children, this one was pretty adorable.
Maybe I would more actively want a child if it stayed this round and sweet always. For the time being I can settle with playing with one every so often. (I think I'd still prefer my own dog.) I am not often this taken by babies.
