Japan is expensive?
Groceries to tide me over until Thursday: 750 yen = $8.80
Pumpkin, eggplants, kiwis, honeydew, watermelon, 10 eggs, tofu
I haven't shopped for produce in America for a while and although you can get bigger portions back home, I don't think Japan is that obscenely expensive. Especially when you consider the quality!
