Potters and Weasleys and selected Slytherins will be the very death of me, I’m sure of it. While I’m very glad everyone is, for the most part, fine, I hope that no one has any urge to go gallivanting off into the forest (or anything even remotely like a forest) in the near future. Frankly, I don’t think my heart could take it. Thank Merlin I am out of here at the end of the year. I couldn’t take these random acts of hooliganism for more than nine months.

In other news, a week from Friday I will be leaving to go to Nunavut, in Canada. I got accepted in to the exchange program so I’ll be attending Inuksuk Wizarding School of the North for two weeks and learning about their culture and all that. It sounds really interesting. Since the school isn’t connected to the European Floo Network, and they don’t want me apparating because it’s such a long way, I actually have to take a muggle air plane, all by myself, but with muggles. By myself with muggles. Apparently the flight takes about six hours and there will be films or a film. I can’t remember. I’ve only ever seen one muggle film, when my grandfather took me. I really liked it, even though it was a children’s film. It was something with cartoon lions and safari animals. Anyway, I have to stop at a muggle air plane station in a city called Ottawa, then get on another air plane to go up North. It’s all very complicated and convoluted and honestly I don’t know how muggles put up with it. I would probably be a lot more excited if I wasn’t so exhausted.

Ted,
Where are you?

Not only do I miss you, but when I really needed you this morning you were no where to be found and do you know how frustrating that is?

I hate this you-being-a-teacher thing. Really.
