Don't you forget about me

Dear Internet:
I usually forget that I still have this LJ account. It sort of fell off my radar for one reason or another. Earlier today I decided to go back and change posts to be either private or friends only. Thus far, it proves to be a tedious task. I might have to pay for an account - just for the convenience of a mass privatization of old entries. No real reason for doing so, just keeping track of what I've got out in the public realm of the internet mixed with a healthy dose of paranoia. One of these days I won't be a student and you never know, that thing I said on the internet ten years ago could come back to haunt me. (although, chances are, my campaign for world domination will not be hampered by my posts on LJ where I complain about school work or post MS paints).

I hope y'all are well. I see some of you in real life and I'm still in touch with others. And of course, there is that Facebook stuff that's handy for keeping in touch, playing scrabble and stalking checking out what old friends and boyfriends are doing. For those that I'm not in touch with, you're what makes me nostalgic for LJ. I met a lot of awesome people through this thing.

If you're ever curious about what I'm doing, you can check out my craft blog. But I warn you, it's only interesting if you want to read my thoughts on crochet, embroidery or Sock Wars.

I just noticed the song on my iTunes. It's a bit of a coincidence as I was about to type that I'm going back underground. Well, Ben Folds did say it best when he said, "we can be happy underground."

Love,
Pineapples.
