How Bizzare...

So I was hanging out in Undercity. Now, I know what I've said before about the unusual odor of the undead. But Undercity does not stink quite like, say, stratholme, or some of the other plaguelands.

In any case, I was waiting on the Auction House to ship me an item I won, when a group of odd looking orcs and trolls stroll up. Not only did they know who I was, but they wanted to know if I could help them out for something. I knew something strange was going on, because they spoke a very strange accented taurahe. I figured someone had taught them, so I thought nothing of it. It was a bit too populated where I was, so I motioned then to a quiet corner, and we discussed a few things. Frankly, I'm not sure how they managed to fool the guardians into thinking that these strange cat-like people (and a bear!) that they were trolls and orcs. I mean, my nose sensed something wrong, and the guardians can see through just about any disguise, frankly.

They explained their reason for coming in here, and asked for my help. I tried to refuse them, saying that they needed someone who was more powerful and more experienced, but they wanted me, and me alone. Apparently, I have a unique talent that no one else in Azoeroth has.

So we went, after I stocked up on reagents and emptied out most of my bags. Again, we went to a secluded place in Undercity before jumping out. Now, I've traveled by magic before (portal, teleportation, and hearthstone), but a cross-dimensional jump was something new to me, and very disorienting.

The place we ended up was... interesting, to say the least. Fortunately, my magic seems to work just fine, although my considerable store of manna was almost completely depleted by the jump. The one known as Tigra explained that the Jump will use the manna pool of any magic user included, which will increase it's capabilities. Apparently, I had almost as much manna as the full tiger there (who went, no surprise, by tiger). He had the ability to tap the world (or a star! as it was explained to me later) for a manna source and act as an almost limitless channel for it.

Tigra had probably a grand laugh at my expense as he showed me how to work a Compute-or device. My comment that it had to be some crazy outlandish goblin or gnome-ish device made him almost fall out of his chair laughing. "No, silly tauren, it's not either of those. It's similar to the camera we gave you a while back." I nodded my head. Fortunately, the device was voice controlled, and as I was learning how to talk to it, I suddenly stopped for a minute. "I'm speaking taurahe, how are you understanding me?" Tigra nodded. "We had a translation spell along with the disguises we used. The computer you are using has picked up your language pretty decently from you talking to it. Each of us has a device in our ears that allows the computer to translate for us. However, we will be teaching you English at least, in case the computer fall apart or breaks down. I nodded. This was to be the start of a very strange adventure...
