I've never quite been able to figure out how anyone can sleep walk. I doubt I ever will. I've always kind of viewed them as "the others." Individuals that I wouldn't let my children associate with. Last night, I got a brief look into their world.
After an uneasy night's sleep at Matt's birthday party the night before, it seemed nice to be sleeping in my bed, in my arctic-temperature bedroom once more. I was right in the middle of a visit with my good friend the Sandman at his summer home in Dreamland, when our conversation steared towards snack machines. Namely, the cheapo snack machine we have in the breakroom at work. As the dream progressed, I began to be quite hungry for a Snickers bar. My craving became so strong that I woke up. Since I was still half asleep, it made perfect sense to me that my refrigerator despensed Snicker's bars. I did what anyone would do: dug 60 cents out of my change bucket and headed towards the refrigerator. After finally seeing that no candy would be purchased from the fridge, I did what anyone craving a Snickers bar would do and went upstairs and ate a banana. I returned to bed and forgot the entire ordeal. Until this morning.
It wasn't quite sleep walking, because I was semi-awake, and I was able to recall the events later on. There's really no point to this story, I'm just bored and feel like typing. Get off my lawn.
