A) They are not comparable restaurants. Culvers does mostly food and regular ice cream (oh excuse me, I forgot they call it "frozen custard", even though I know now they are liars and it's just frigging ice cream), while Sonic is mainly known for their ice cream and slush confections.
Custard is different than ice cream. It contains egg yolks, giving it a smoother texture. I guess I shouldn't be surprised that a Sonic fan can't tell the difference!!!!
Oh, I can tell the difference - which is why I can tell the difference between actual frozen custard, and the ICE CREAM Culver's serves and simply calls frozen custard.

Hmm, well custard or not, I guess I'm content with Culver's serving the best frozen chocolate dairy concoction at a national chain restaurant. Sonic, on the other hand, serves poopy on a stick with poop sauce.
