*sigh*

You know, DB needs to lay off the "maybe they'll never get together" thing for a while, now. Fans are already stressed over the events of the 100th without making it worse.

Thanks for sharing. It's an interesting interview.

I agree, he's being a little too clever for his own good. Pitchforks anyone? Just kidding of course. I think he's really internalized the Moonlighting Curse myth and sort of convinced Emily too. They've got a very good, fun, well-paid thing going and are hesitant to rock the boat. At least we know they and Hart Hanson do have their heart in the right place though-unlike with House MD where TPTB, i.e., David Shore and Hugh Laurie, share the same pessimistic outview about relationships in general and their needing to stay "edgy" and cynical.

I can't decide if it's that he's internalized the Moonlighting thing too much or if he's just determined to do whatever he can to keep the fans guessing. Either way, it's getting annoying.

And I am so eternally sick of that blasted Moonlighting thing anyway. The only reason a show should crash after resolving UST is if the writers don't have the talent to make RST interesting. And these writers, with these characters, have the best chance of pulling that off of any show in a long time. It'll be a real shame if they chicken out.

Yeah. And there have been shows with couples doing their thing together with sustained sexiness, e.g., McMillan and Wife, Hart to Hart, etc.
