I thought weekends were about rest?
It feels like this is the first chance I've had to sit down since friday!
Simon's (Plastic Toys) Party was crazy! Fancy dress was attempted with various degrees of success. It was wicked to see Michelle and Vicky again and I got to speak to Katy some more. She's not as scary as I thought, and man does she like banofee pie!
Kirst got pretty drunk, but I think someone (Adam) kept getting her drinks, and then the JD demon just came out!! Poor girl couldn't remember a thing the next day and was quite shocked when I told her about the kissing Vicky... apparently for 20 seconds according to the ever vigilant adam. Definately a good night though, and one I hope can be repeated soon. I really feel like I've met a new group of friends and it feels nice :)
The next day consisted of working on my VW camper, the plan was orignially to get her back. But after seeing what good condidtion we had restored her too I'm having second thoughts. She isn't really cut out for touring and it was ultimatley de-value her. So I'm thinking about just using a fill in car until I can sell her and use the money to get a new van.
Sunday was the first day back in the studio for a long time, I forgot how much I missed it. Nick is a wicked engineer and gets great results out of us and I think these recordings are gonna be even better than before. We got loads done, all the drums & synths and half the guitars. Which leaves two days for the rest of the guitars, vocals and then mixing and mastering. I can't wait to go back on wednesday!!
