(no subject)
I've started learning to drive, being as how I can't work as a celebrant if i can't drive. We cannot afford to run two cars, therefore I must learn to drive the Lancer, which is manual. Well fuck. Clutches. Confusing much? And Matt gets nervous and yells at me. But overall I'm doing okay, despite being pulled up the the police for driving in an obviously dodgy manner in the Safeway carpark at midnight. I will also not be able to work as a celebrant if I don't enrol in the course, but I need to wait at least another... um... three weeks i think, before I will be able to put enough money on my card to pay for it. Stupid practicalities.
Apart from that, my only other exciting news is not that exciting at all. I just spent fifteen minutes renaming my iTunes playlists after my favourite books. Thus, 'Eurovision 04-07' has become 'Ludmila's Broken English', and 'Swing/Jazz' has become 'The Great Gatsby' and so forth. I have also created a mega playlist of 80s music. Oh yeah. I had forgotten my passion for hair rock.
It's a sad inditement on my life when that is truly the most exciting thing I've done today. I am, however, heading out for karaoke tonight, so things might hot up a little later.
