mmm gambling
Today Chris and I drove down to Barona Casino to do some gambling since being under 21 prohibits us from doing it in most other Indian Casinos. We woke up pretty early in order to be back from San Diego by 5 tonight, and surprisingly I got us from downtown Los Angeles to the casino east of San Diego in less than two hours. It was actually a very easy drive.
The main reason Chris and I went was because we needed a "Welcome back to college trip" and since he had never been gambling in a real casino, we decided this was the best thing to go do for a day. I had pumped him up all week with stories of first time luck: how you will win money the first time you gamble, then begin to lose upon returning as my parents and Danielle had taught me. Sadly for Chris this was not the case.... he ended up losing over half his money in under and hour, while I made a nice little $30 by the end of the day.
Either way we had lots of fun wandering the casino, losing money, winning money, and driving back and forth. Good times!
