Has it really been this long?
I know it's been a while since I posted, but I didn't think it had been THAT long! So much has happened since then.....
Bryan graduated boot camp with flying colors and is now stationed on the USCGC Katherine Walker in Bayonne, NJ.
We had Sadie put down. It was sad, but it was time.
The bedroom remodel is done, complete with hardwood floors. It looks gorgeous!
I just finished statistics. It was a bitch, but I did it.
I'm still trying to lose weight.
And, Osama bin Laden is dead and is presently fish food.
I'm at work now and have a few minutes of down time. We haven't been very busy lately and that's been nice. I just got a raise, which put me at the top of the pay scale. It is nice to get paid as much as I do to do something I love. Just a couple weeks ago I was ready to leave Springfield and start over. After some long talks with my friends and family, and much soul searching, I have decided to stay here until I retire. I'm looking forward to moving to the new hospital and I really don't want to start over in a new job at my age. So, Randy promised we will go to the beach more often and I'm going to hold him to that.
I haven't done well with the weight loss. I had lost about 10 pounds, and then I've gained some back. I started again today and I want to have this weight off before I go to Florida. I am now using Advocare products and they work great. However, they only work when used correctly. I do feel motivated again, so hopefully this feeling will last and I can stick with it.
