So far, I have lost about 15 pounds. That's not too bad considering I haven't been exercising and I've cheated...a lot. We have eaten out way more than I thought we would. I've done better the past couple days. My big problem is when I go home I want to stick my hand in the potato chips or Cheetos bag. If I could stop with just a handful, it wouldn't be so bad.
We went to Bob's funeral on Saturday and it was very sad. My family is slowly dying off. There are only a few of them I really associate with any more. Aunt Jane's kids were the ones I liked and who have always been closest to me. Now Wayne is gone, Faye will probably follow soon, and Nancy and Jeff are in really bad health. What is so sad is that poor eating habits and a lazy lifestyle have been the causes of their problems. Granted, Bob wasn't overweight, but he was a smoker and that definitely could have led to his cancer.
I was just so sad after we got home. The whole finality of a funeral just kind of got to me. Afterwards we went to Beavercreek and I bought some Aqua globes and some new books and that cheered me up some. Nothing like a little retail therapy. Then some fucker hit my Jeep in the parking lot and didn't even leave a note. Oh well, whoever did it will get theirs.
I'm going this afternoon to get my tattoo finished. I think I'm going to get a little fairy on my foot. They truly are addicting.
I'm also really going to push Jon and Randy to get the BowFlex upstairs tonight. I need to get back into some serious working out so I can be back into my good clothes before I go to France. It's only 57 days away. I've been looking online and women seem to dress better in France than they do here. I want to look good and I want to be able to keep up with all the walking. Plus, golf season will be starting right after we get back, and I want to be in shape for golf. I'm really starting to look forward to this trip.
