My Marrow Is Mostly Marshmallow

Hi! I'm updating because I don't want to work on this research paper, and my remaining options are "play on the Internet," "hook the Wii back up," and "mop." If I hook up the Wii I will never finish my work, and the bucket is out on the balcony. Alone. I'd hate to interrupt its quiet time.

Yesterday was my birthday, but today's date is the actual number of years the world has been subjected to me, and I've been pretty much spreading my birthday cheer over the entire Easter season. Unfortunately for my stomach, "birthday cheer" mostly means "cake and candy." At this rate, I'm either going to give myself diabetes or start secreting Kool-Aid from my pores. The slice of banana cake I just ate represents at least a 300% increase in my recent fruit consumption.

OM NOM NOM.

I am also updating because it occurred to me that I had not yet shared with the world at large the wonderful ideas that skm428 and I had for punctuation-based television shows. The first stars superhero Captain Interrobang, who always sounds very excited and a little confused ("I'm here to save the day‽"), and his sidekick, Ellipsis, who just sort of trails off...

We also see potential in a series about a halfway house for abused punctuation marks. Emmy-winning potential.

In related news, sometimes when I right-click on a misspelled word in OpenOffice, I am given the option "Word is in Frisian." I am at a loss to explain why this has been the dictionary's first guess on any occasion, let alone on several. Perhaps if I begin typing random clusters of katakana, it will conclude that my words are in Ainu.

Slacking time is probably over now. :(

P.S. badger5 got me a copy of Majora's Mask for my birthday, so I really need to finish this assignment before I get sucked into the magical world of Termina and don't emerge for a week.
