Tonight was (optional) SLIS orientation on campus. Since I already know where the library is and am quickly becoming well-versed in its inner workings, I opted to skip orientation and enjoy pasta night with Mary. Then I opted to have another hunk of bread with delicious marinara sauce. Now I'm going to pretend that I'm opting to settle deeper into the futon in a carb-induced haze of happiness, though I suspect that I couldn't get up if I wanted to. The illusion of choice is important to me.
Today was my last day of actual job training, so once I decide I'm finished with observation, I can be a total lump until classes start next week. I'm going to be a champion lump. I'd award myself a misshapen blue ribbon, but that would take effort. O paradox.
My new chipset fan is not here yet. According to Newegg's tracking service, it spent the night in Dinkytown, Ohio, a scant forty miles away from me. At least it has a tube of thermal paste to keep it company. I hope they're not ganging up on my new headphones.
Still, chipset fan or no, I could pass out right now and be utterly content. Caaaaaarbs.
