Well, whatever it is I've been battling this last month, I think I'm finally just about over it. I still tire out easily and require extra sleep (and my sinuses are still full of gunk), but I'm generally more energetic and can eat more than a couple spoonfuls of food at one sitting. This is Very Good, as I would have hated to take the GRE when I was shuffling around in a state of constant nausea.
In other news, I went shopping with my mother yesterday (and wore myself out, but hey) and found hummus. I cannot fully express how pleased I am to have gotten my hands on some hummus again. There doesn't seem to be any flatbread in this town, but I can make do.
I've also replaced the bras that the tiny male sheltie chewed to bits. Bra-shopping with my mother is always an adventure, and she took it to the next level this time by holding up one of the bras I'd found fit me and saying, "Do they really take up this much space? Are you sure? That's huge!" And then she finds it embarrassing when I chase her around the store on a musical hobby horse. Honestly.
On a tangent, I finally got my Ebon Mask in World of Warcraft, and it
cracks me up. Yes, those are tusks poking through it. This is even more fun than the eyepatch I was rocking before. Now if only I could get a new dagger or two, I'd be set.
