Anyway, haven't seen it yet, will soon. I already know what happens, though, because (1) uhh...Episode 4? and (2) It seems that everyone already knew the whole movie plot, start to finish, and gabbed it out loud at seemingly random times as much as two months before the film opened. Honestly, I think I overhead this one on a Milledge bus...
Sorority Girl #1: "...and I can honestly say I was never that drunk before in my entire life. I never did find that squirrel...
Sorority Girl #2: "Padme dies when Luke and Leia are born, and Anakin gets mutilated when he catches on fire with all that molten lava around!"
Sorority Girl #1: "What the hell are you talking about? Hel-lo! I'm talking about how wasted I was! Besides, lava is molten rock, you fool. Molten lava is redundant...heck, it doesn't even make any sense!"
Sorority Girl #2: "Sorry. My bad. Go on about the hot guy."
Sorority Girl #1: "Sure thing, right after I talk about the Chewbacca / Jedi connection..."
Yeah, Padme makes for a pretty tiny primigravida, and it would have been no trouble at all to create complications from her giving birth to twins. Heck, she could have died from a totally random infection and it still would have sucked less. No biscuit for you, George.
By the way, overhearing a conversation like that would almost make up for being spoiled. Just hearing a stereotypical sorority girl catch the redundancy in "molten lava" would be worth the price of admission.
Yeah, I gotta admit, I had to actually stretch and warm up the creativity section of the brain before going off on that joyride. Unfortunately, it wasn't all good. A squirrel? What was I thinking? That's the best I had, I guess :|
