I Wonder What the Planning Committee Was Like

When I was placing my lunch order today, my gaze fell on a the cover of VHS tape sitting on the desk. The cartoony cover art consisted of a princess, a hoary old man, and a vampire with a spring-loaded bat in his top hat all standing on a white staircase that ran diagonally across the lower-left-hand side, while an enormous, naked, whistle-blowing cherub filled most of the rest of the space. The kanji at the top of all this said "Traffic Safety."

Yeah, I got nothin'.

Also, I've done a number (no doubt an irrational one) on my right shoulder/neck area. I'm not sure what triggered it, but suddenly I can't tilt my head back very far without encountering screaming pain in whatever that muscle is back there (Er, the teres? The trapezius? My knowledge of anatomy is eclectic and geared toward homicide, which I realize is the kind of phrase that's just begging to be taken out of context and used against me in a court of law). I kept sneaking off to the bathroom at work to try stretching it by turning my head in the directions that offered the most painful resistance, but I didn't make a whole lot of progress until I got home and slapped an adhesive heating pad on the sore spot. Mefears my poor computer posture is finally coming around to bite me.

Anyway. Icon is in memoriam my favorite Harry Potter crack theory ever, which was recently shot down. Dumbledore, you'll always be Ron in my heart.

And now, back to throwing together a Max icon to celebrate the supreme awesome of Sam, Max, and their hitting of the road. Mmm, glorious unproductivity.

sam & max, harry potter and the perils of fandom, la vida japonés
