Roxymissrose popped my cherry
After who knows how many years - I'm finally making my very first post thanks to the ever loving Roxy. If anyone ever reads this, I apologize in advance for not knowing how to make spiffy cut tags, name links and all the other things that you folks take for granted as basic LJ tricks of the trade.

Mission: List seven habits/quirks/facts about yourself.
1. I jumped out of a perfectly good airplane. Of course I had a large man strapped to my back at the time (had to pay extra for that bit).
2. I took second place at the 7th annual SPAM carving competition by creating Spamcargot. A snail with a gelatin trail behind it. It was a true thing of beauty and I was totally robbed of first place - robbed I say!
3. I hate olives, mushrooms, and bell peppers. I'm pretty tough to eat pizza with.
4. I have freakishly good hearing.
5. I'm not really 5 feet tall. I just say that so people won't think I'm all that short (at 4'11"). I could still have a growth spurt you know...
6. I have a sock fetish. Not in a bad way - I just like to buy brightly colored socks. Tried buying some on eBay and discovered a whole very creepy subculture of people that buy and sell dirty socks. Grossed me out for a week. (No disrespect to any one reading this that might be of that persuasion).
7. My favorite color is purple. I most likely inherited this from my mother, who once painted her toilet purple so "she could have a purple pot to pee in".
And that's it - a tiny, very warped window into the mind of a bonehed (actually named after my dog that has a rather impressive noggin). I don't know if I'll ever write more entries after this one, but it was kind of fun.
