Exasperation
WH just knows how to press all my buttons...
Out of the blue, when WH was playing DOTA and I was surfing on Etsy, this conversation happened.
WH: Do you generally tend to go for the tragic hero?
Me: Uhm...I guess so.
WH: AHA I was right.
Me: What about me gives you that impression?
WH: I've been trying to analyse you for years. And you always seem to go for the fragile weakling characters.
Me: OKAAAAY...how about some specific examples of some such characters?
WH: ...Not nice to say lah.
Me: Do you mean LOKI? *inwardly fuming!!!!!*
WH: *small voice* Yes.
Me: ANYONE ELSE?
WH: Hmm...that's about it.
Me: *takes ten deep breaths* Sure or not? Any other weak and fragile character that you think I may like?
WH: For Harry Potter, don't you like Weasley?
Me: Well...NOT my favourite by a longshot.
WH: OH! Then that other guy...that you always read fanfiction with Harry about. *thinks very hard for 20 seconds* DRACO!
Me: Okay not bad considering that you never read the books or watched any of the HP movies...OKAY TRUE LAH TRAGIC LAH. But my favourite character from the movies is Snape. *withholds telling the whole long tragic story of Snape because it is already 11pm*
