I will be attending the ball as a chaperone.
If dates are not required, perhaps I will simply attend by myself. It would... be better... I think. I do not need a distraction from my duties, after all.
I am curious, however... Who else is chaperoning? I think it would be wise for us to be introduced to one another to increase the effectiveness of our positions.
