Sword Spotting?
I can't be the only person here who's done this.
My fiance and I went to Largs on Monday, and while we were there we visited Vikingar. There's a Viking Longhouse there, and while we were waiting for the tour to start I was looking around. Just outside the window, wrapped up in fabric was a sword. I gasped, grabbed John and went "It's the sword!" Hehe.
Fast-forward a little way, there's a twenty minute video about the history of Vikings in Scotland. It's told by a Viking settler to another wounded man, while they wait for the Scottish men to come and find them. He tells the story of this sword which has been passed down through the family for the past hundred or so years.
Cue me tugging John's sleeve going "I told you so!" Much to the bemusement of the children and their teachers who were visiting Vikingar on a school trip.
Clearly, they'd not watched Bonekickers!
So. Have any of you spotted the sword anywhere?
