duffy's doctor's appointment was okay. everyone there loved him. he got his talons trimmed for free. his examination was free [thank you special spca card], but we had to pay for his meds, which were pretty affordable. his doctor was nice, but kinda odd. he talked a lot and real slow. soooo... duffy's on meds for two weeks. he doesn't seem to be getting any better though. the doctor took a rectal swab [:O] and said he saw no parasites. he also said that since he has cerebellar hypoplasia, cats like him are sometimes predisposed to bowel problems even while they are fetuses. it has something to do with something, i kinda forget what he said. but yea, it sucks cos he could never have normal turds. we'll see what happens. i just gotta keep him hydrated [which he's having no problem with] and sometimes i gotta put some vaseline on his tender cat butt.

peanut is sick. she seems to have a cold. i've been applying antibiotic ointment to her eye which is a little sore. i have no money at this time to take her to the vet. she'll probably be alright. she got sick last year around this time and got better.

my xmas was okay. i got some cool stuff.

tonight jimmy, duffy and myself are heading over my parents' for new year's eve dinner. i have no crazy plans other than that. duffy loves going over my parents' house. he's never bored there. he tries to play with drew and she freaks out, tommy doesn't seem to dislike him and there's usually some random cat there that my sister's fostering.

tomorrow is the three year anniversary of jimmy and me getting together. that was one hell of a new year's party.
