Prize-winning story

Mar 09, 2015 11:09

My story Flytrap placed second in SF Reader's annual short story contest, which is truly cool.  I would have loved to win the top prize, of course, but with such a high-profile site and big entry, I am truly delighted to have been one of the winners.  You can read the story here, and if you like airships in a non-steampunk setting, I recommend it! (for some reason, link isn't working.  Think it's an LJ problem...  You can see the story here: http://forum.sfreader.com/forum_topics.asp?FID=6&title=2014-winners)

Complete list of winners:

1st - Fetus-in-Fetu, by James A. Mangum
2nd - Flytrap, by Gustavo Bondoni
3rd - Price of War, by Samson Stormcrow Hayes

If you read it, let me know what you thought!  Or, better still, if you are an SF Reader member, leave a comment there!
