Siege synopsis and a few words

So, I did something I'd been putting off for a while, and re-did my synopsis for Siege, a science fiction novel I wrote a few years ago.  In the process, I fell in love with the novel again.  The most frustrating part of being an author at the moment is that I have this novel which I love, but I loathe the synopsis / query process so much that I am not able to sell it (and having sold both books and stories, I have a good feel for what can sell - and this one should).  So re-doing the synopsis is a first step towards that goal.

I also wrote over 800 words since last report, on a new story for yet another antho - this one is an urban fantasy set in modern-day Africa.

So, productive days!
