The reviews of
Tenth Orbit and Other Faraway Places keep pouring in, and the latest one appeared
here on Residential Aliens, written by
Fred Warren. Once again, the reviewer says nice things about the book, looks at each story separately, and is objective about the things he didn't like as well. This is probably the review I'd point people to if they asked me to tell them about my book in four hundred words or less (at least of those that I've seen so far) - so go on, have a look!
I'm still honored and humbled that so many reviewers - even those that didn't like the book - would compare my writing to the great work of the Golden Age. Simply amazing.
In other news, writing continues apace. Yesterday, I finished a story set in the Olduvai Gorge a long long time ago, and I'm really happy with the way it turned out. I'll probably end up hating it during the polishing stage, but at the moment I like it!
