We were watching the AEE thing on G4. Jim decided to use the interview questions on me.
Jim: "What's your favorite part of being a Porn Star?"
Me: "The wardrobe."
Jim: "FAIL"
I thought I'd share.
I Skyped with my parents this evening. My mom told me I looked like I needed to be in the hospital. Thanks mom. =.= Really, it's just a cold on top of Lyme's. Also, my mom is trying to find a way to take their cat to England with him. I really don't think they have the money. They have two different friends in Richmond who also might take Kat. But if that doesn't happen, she will be homing here. @___@;; Coco and Kitten *hate* each other. We have a one bedroom apartment. This isn't going to be pretty.
In other news, Jim and I have kinda been celebrating a little Underworld holiday here. I saw the first one when it first came out, and really didn't like it. For the same reasons I still dislike it. I don't like the werewolf design, at all. I've seen a of of good werewolf design, and well, maybe I'm picky. Secondly, the sound team was simply not paid enough. Did anyone else notice that bullet sounds don't match up to bullets being shot, let alone the right kind of weapon? And don't even get me started on how the shots fired sound exactly same in the streets of the city as in the tunnels underneath. Sound doesn't do that. kthnxbai. But the story? I love the story. It's an... indulgence. I suppose. I'm not going to get into it for fear of spoilers. But as critical as I am of the movie, I do enjoy it.
Next we're going to watch the second one. Which I have never seen. Jim talks very highly about it, so I hope it's good as well. And when we finish that - there's the new third one! Which is exciting. I like spending a bunch of time close together watching movie series like this. I'm one of those people who sit down and watch trilogies back-to-back. We're doing one a day with these, but it's still in a short amount of time. Which is awesome.
