Well my username DID stem from the franchise ;)
Uh so.. The opening credits seem to not know what it is that they're doing. I kinda miss the feeling of the first film with the cute animation (even though it went FOREVER! Somewhere in a forked parallel existence I'm still stuck in a cinema watching those I'm sure) but I guess this is a nice mix of the old series and the new...
LoL lol florists and hyperbole, someone give Dame Judy another oscar for "The embodiment of awesome in a supporting role." 8 minutes of screen time anyone? + Awwww his mum. *did not cough up a lung giggle pout at the end at ALL*
Armagad they totally adorabled with all the typographic choices to 'suit' location. I squealed and hyperventilated glee whenever one of them showed up.
LOVED the battered formal-wearing couple wandering through the bolivian desert... You KNOW its summer when the girls wander around without shoes ;) The oil soaked girl as an homage to the gold painted one from the original series was a VERY cute touch. MmMmMm feel the priorites.
Heheheeeeee british empire jibe. MORE ADORABLE! Oh and its good to know that cars still always explode on impact. Ah the classics. Pity they decided to with a total dweeb as a villain. Not so classic.
Oh and POP QUIZ: When escaping from a burning exploding building do you a) run b) walk c) trudge?
I'm not sure why so many people found it hard to follow, seems rather straight forward (though granted the plot tastes decidedly swiss). But I DID find pretty much everything very hard to BUY.
