The first five days of the year? CRAMMED FULL ARMAGAD! XD
Apart from setting up poupeegirl pages, dying of laughter (literally losing all self control and like CRYING and drooling) from wow screens, stealing delicious vogue patterns and sewing them from unlikely fabrics (YAY binka_boo), designing crazy pirates for gaia with jenji; There's also been some escaping from death-by-heat exhaustion by hiding out in my house/the cinema (lol Enchanted isn't as bad as you think XD XD)/friend's houses; lolling about with friends (not to mention dicking around and a good dose of burling); loads of WoW playing; eating bakery goods; HOT CHIPS! <333; and reading delicious new books (superhugs to deasilvae). Although there's been MUCH less of the latter than I'd like. XD
Had an.. altercation with Mum today, so that's not exactly how I'd like to have the first part of the year go but I hope it'll be okay and Mum'll calm down. I'm sure she didn't mean half of what she was saying. I explained what happened to my brother and he offered to disown them on my behalf. XD
I've been posting heaps of shots to flickr over the past few weeks, possibly will attempt to post a photo recap soon but LULZ so many shots! XD I've been thinking of giving up my quest for a Nikon D80 in favour of the Panasonic Lumix L10... That you can use the lcd to take shots with a dslr and it's standard leica lens makes me fall into a state of bliss..! Pipe dream anyway, who has the cash, amirite? XD
PS: Apparently, Australians have to be nerfed XD XD
PPS: I just used approximately 8 metres of fabric for one dress. Suddenly throws a different light on all those $200-$300 dress price tags. Granted, I did manage to get this fabric for $3 a metre. XD But if I want to make the same dress out of anything more expensive... WOE! XD
