Speaking of le memes, thornae showed me Wired Magazine's Very Short Stories last night, making sure I didn't miss the design gallery. Based on the premise that Hemingway in true Hemingway form once wrote a six-word story that he hailed as his best work:
"For sale: baby shoes, never worn."
See? Hemingway-form. ANYWAYS the contributors are all uber people and some of their submissions truly are literary gold (Joss Whedon's is cute, Margaret Atwood's are brilliant, Neil Gaiman is the king!) so in the course of reading them it was brought up that it'd make a well wicked meme. Not sure if it'll catch on cause YOUMUSTTHINK™ but: I START ONE! XD
Hemingway did it, Shatner, Gaiman and Smith follow suit, where ever you see this, post it in your own journal and add a six-word story of your own. Andy at work has TEHSKEELZ™ to fire enormous rubber bands at me from across the divider to get my attention WITHOUT IT HURTING. They just kinda... Gently hit my hair so I spin around and see his beaming face eyeing me with a four year olds innocence.
Thats way cooler than just sending each other ims on aim... That's OLD SCHOOL.
