The Last 20 Days
As is normal, most of the last three weeks have been busy with little more than delivering pizzas. I have, however, had a few notable points. I've won the last two weeks at BW's (official win numbers 26 & 27) which has extended my lead over Adam to twelve. The last five of six weeks I've chalked up the W, with Adam rudely interrupting this streak. Tonight I hope to make the first official three-peat.
I also broke down and actually bought something for myself this summer. Up until now, probably 90% of my money has been going into the bank, and the only money coming out was going to into my gas tank. Filling up 2-3 times a week at about 2.20 a gallon, this is no cheap expense. But I haven't bought anything other than that until I decided to get an iPod. This means I don't have to listen solely to the radio when I'm driving and I won't have to lug my laptop around next year just to listen to music. All summer I'd been playing with them at Best Buy and normally, as soon as you get close to them, an employee is all over you, but the one time I actually wanted to buy it no one even noticed me for twenty minutes. It wasn't like they were busy, I was the only one there. I've also been hurting this week cause I broke my cell phone. I cracked the screen and the LCD liquid is everywhere, I can only read things in the upper left part of the screen. This makes it hard to call people, find out who called and check messages. This wouldn't be as big of a problem if I had step up speed dial, but I thought I'd never need it.
