Two and half weeks

I've been on the crutches for a little over two weeks. The Doc says my leg is healing pretty well and life's falling into somewhat of a routine. I dropped Fit For Life for the semester - something tells me it's just not the semester do to a weekly exercise routine and run 1.5 miles. The 8 and 9 AM classes are having their way with me; I'm falling asleep at like midnight if I don't take a nap or something. Overall, the broken leg is little more than an inconvenience. It takes a little longer to get places, but I've never been one for hurrying. I don't make it to the DC very often anymore. I've got stuff for sandwiches in my room which I usually eat. That and eating out every once in a while keep me happy.

For example, Tuesday night, Peter and I skipped BW's and went down to the Texas Roadhouse in Muncie with Rachel, Kelly, and Erica for Rachel's birthday. We stopped by Kelly's house on the way home so the girls could catch One Tree Hill or something on TV. Peter and I tried to follow the show to no avail. We chatted with her dad for a while. A guy with only daughters takes whatever male bonding chances he can get. This was the second I've been to Texas Roadhouse since I've been hurt. The first time we stopped by Target and I got to drive the motorized shopping cart around. So far, I've only fallen a couple of times and the ice is starting to melt, which will help me out.
