weekend
yesterday i went to a shopping centre i vow never to go to again.. DANDY PLAZA!
my map reading ability is really lacking.. & a certain male thought he was going to the right direction to get to fountain gate (not often do i venture that far south, but kath & kim shop there so i wish to go)
but we ended up at dandy.. that place is like a maze to get out of!!
i did get some nice grip fast look alike boots for $10 though. one needs a new zip but the shoe repairs place can see to that on my payday (thurs)
im looking forward to my payday. i now earn $16 an hour so my pay will be around $400 :D
i also got a steam straightening iron from myer with a gift voucher i got for my birthday.. very good. very handy too.. my hair is nearly straight.. but it frizzes like crazy!
i was looking through various communites before.. i find it strange that for 1. a huge amount of people on LJ are 'goodlooking' i think they are goodlooking mostly due to photoshop & cheap digital cameras
2. there are quite a few people who get called 'hot' but in my opnion atleast. aren't hot at all.
im so over rating communties. it's like highschool in most of them. always bitching & always people trying to 'out cool' eachother.
& this picture stealing fad that is going in right now. really really lame. i feel sorry in a way for the people who feel the need to steal pictures.
i voted LIBERAL yesterday. im not hugely keen on johhny.. but hes better than latham!
today me & luvvahboy went to warrandyte & then healsville. some old guy who ran a bookshop had a big bitch about how he thinks that green day & all those other pop punk bands are rockabilly bands who couldnt play well enough to play rockabilly so they played boppy pop. & that he liked the SA music scene in particular the exploding white mice.
it was such a nice day for a drive.

when the knobs were handing out all the how to vote cards. the last one i took was the family first card. & the stupid girl handing out the greens card said as me & kristan walked off 'why would you need that card when you don't even have a family!' i was so annoyed! i wasnt planning on voting for them. or the greens. what the hell does not having children have to do with what party i vote for?
