Chapter 4 :
The clock still show at 3 am when Yamada opened his eyes. His feels very dizzy. He tried to get up and go to the bathroom to take aspirin. After taking the medicine and wash his face, Yamada feel better. Chinen’s words before come back again in his mind. Now he's sober enough to be able to think of it all.
Yamada opened the balcony door of his room and stepping out to balcony. He leaned on the railing. The sky is still dark. The stars were still shining on the night sky. The atmosphere was very calm, and the wind is not blowing. Yamada looked up and sighed.
"Is it true you’ll sad to see me like this, Mi-chan?" He began to speak.
"Yuri is right. If I die and see you continue to blame yourself, I certainly would be sad."
"Not that I want to make you sad Mi-chan, I'm just not ready to lose you. One year, this one year I'm trying, though it’s very little hope to find you, but before there is certainty about your condition, I won’t give up. But, after the evidence which I found yesterday, all my hopes disappeared. "
"You definitely can’t happy in your new world, if you always worried about me. I know, like you always do. Do you still remember? You always scold me for working too hard, and sometimes forget our promises. Hahaha .. " Yamada laughs, tears began flowing down his cheek.
"I'm sorry to disappoint you, Mi-chan. I know my decision to postpone our marriage makes you very sad at that time, although you said you were okay. Not that I don’t want it, it's just, I'm not sure I could make you happy. I'm not sure I can return your love to me. Sometimes I'm so ashamed, can’t return your feelings, my love for you is not as big as your love to me. I too often make you feel disappointed and sad."
"Ah, finally I can accept this reality. Is it true that you can rest well in there if I stopped blame myself, Mi-chan? You don’t have to worry about me anymore. I've grown, you know? I can look after myself." Yamada narrowed his eyes. What was just imagining, but he’s sure that one of the brightest stars were blinking at him. He shook his head. He must be crazy, consider twinkling star as a sign that Mirai agree with him.
"What if I find someone else Mi-chan, can I have love again? I will still remember you, of course, and I promise I'll be happy." Again, the star blinked at him, like a yes. Yamada blinked. Maybe he was right, it's a sign permit from Mirai.
Yamada kept gazing at the stars, but the star was not blinking anymore.
Yamada remove the tear marks on his cheeks. "Thank you Mi-chan. May you be happy there. No need to worry about me anymore, I'll be fine here. See you again." Yamada smiled.
The stars fade, the sky began to lighten, a sign of the sun will rise. Everything is like a farewell from Mirai for Yamada, showing a clear day will soon come. The morning wind suddenly blew his face. Yamada hugged his body, feeling a little cold. He returned to his room, but not before he gave the last smile towards the sky.
Yamada closed the balcony door and curtain before returning to bed. He saw that Yuri was still asleep and he smiling. Yamada back into bed and stared at Yuri next to him.
"You're so beautiful." He whispered. His hand stroked Yuri’s hair. "I don’t know if you've got a very painful experience. I don’t understand why grandfather didn’t tell me. I'm sure he'd know about it." Yamada still playing with Yuri's hair.
Suddenly he saw the tears flowing down her cheeks. Chinen's eyes were still closed. Looks like she had nightmares, crying in her sleep. Chinen delirious.
"Grandpa, Too-san, Kaa-san, don’t leave me alone. I want to be with you. Why did you leave me alone here? Please don’t go, I don’t want to be alone." The crying grew louder, her hands moving, reaching for air. Yamada began to panic. He didn’t want to wake Chinen up, but he doesn’t know what he should do.
Yamada wiped tears from her cheeks, and hugged her. He spun around, letting Chinen lying on top of him. His hand stroked her hair and patted her back. Chinen was still crying in her sleep. Yamada began to try to calm her down.
“Sssstttt, don’t cry.” He whispered. “You’re not alone. You have me and grandpa. We won’t leave you alone. Ssstttt….”
Yamada’s hugs and whisper seemed to make Chinen feel safe and calm. She began to stop crying. Her hand gripping Yamada’s clothes, and her breathing began to steady again. Looks like the bad dream is over, because crying has stopped. She buried her face in Yamada’s chest.
Yamada smiled. Seeing Chinen crying always makes him panic, he didn’t know why. But, he feels relieved now, knowing her nightmare is gone.
Yamada kiss Chinen's head before put the blankets around their bodies.
"You're not alone, we will always be with you." Promise Yamada before falling asleep again, with Chinen in his arms.

I want make this, so the changeable of Yama chan's behaviour is not really weird.
